He was predeceased by: his parents, Alphonse Koerner and Florence Koerner (Buss); and his brothers, Richard, Ronald, David and Terry.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Rae Schuelke; his daughter Julie Lehmann (Chad); his grandchild Mackenzie; his son Paul Koerner; and his grandchildren, Zach and Dakota. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Eugene's name are encouraged to the American Cancer Society, or Veterans Home in King.
