It is with great sadness that we announce the death of August Bemke (King, Wisconsin), born in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, who passed away on November 7, 2018, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, August Bemke and Doris Bemke (Gierzewski); and his wife June. He is survived by: his children, Jacqueline Lear of Mayfield, KY, Michael Bemke of Stevens Point and Mary Grawey (Stevens Point); his grandchildren, Laken Lear, Logan Lear, Ryan Bemke (Liz), Mariah Bemke, Alyssa, Hailey and Dillon Grawey; and his siblings, Anthony (Stevens Point), Edward (Milwaukee), Walter Stevens Point (Judy), Catherine Wanta of Stevens Point, Theresa Cummings (Arvid) of Hendrickson, NV, Frances Brown (Richard) of Plover and Eleanor Spitzenberger (Eau Claire).
Friends and family will gather to share memories from 4:00 - 7:00 PM on Friday at the Shuda Funeral Chapel: 3200 Stanley St. In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to your local Alzheimer's research center.
