It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vonda Lee Schmidt in Kimberly, Wisconsin, born in Rudd, Iowa, who passed away on January 10, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Ahrens and Lena Lampman; her siblings, Berdell Ahrens and Dorothy Lesch; and her in-laws, Gene and Lucy Schmidt.
She is survived by: her husband Richard Schmidt; her children, Joy Doersch (David), Jill Roth (Rick) and Ted Schmidt; her grandchildren, Amanda Steinhaus (William) and Isaac Doersch; her brother Donell Ahrens; and her siblings-in-law, Mildred Bowers, Connie Schmidt, Patricia Ahrens, Wava Ahrens and Jim Lesch.
