It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vernon DeBruin of Kimberly, Wisconsin, who passed away on December 24, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Vernon DeBruin to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Bruin and Virginia De Bruin (Huss); his siblings, Dick (Yvonne) and Elaine Killian (Frank); his son Paul De Bruin; his granddaughter Marie Lyn; his great grandchild Kat Marie (Pat); and his close friends, Ardelle "Ardie" Petzold and Rita Cook.
He is survived by: his children, Chris De Bruin (Randy Shannon) of Grand Junction, CO, Cindi De Bruin of Appleton, Tom De Bruin (Cookie) of Pittsburgh, PA and Tim De Bruin of Appleton; his grandchildren, Jed, Jesse (Josh), Michael (Yanique), Josh (Becky), Amie (Adam), Sarah (Chuck), Katie (Nathan) and Megan; and his great grandchildren, Ollie, Violet, Hazel, Neno, Taj, Isley, Dylan, Taylor, Shamari, Taisean, Janaya, Soleil, Finn, Mallory, Benjamin, Riley, Lezra, Tayron and Sariyah. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; other relatives, neighbors and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established to benefit a charity of meaning for Vern.
