He was predeceased by: his brother Ronald; his parent-in-law Leo; his sons-in-law, Patrick Maynard and Randal Voecks; and his siblings-in-law, Joseph, Arthur, Norbert Santkuyl, Bernard Smith, William Caraker and Jean Santkuyl.
He is survived by: his children, Susan Maynard (Gerald Lohman), Sandra Voecks, Robert Biechler (Cindy), Sharon Goffard, Valerie Schmidt (Jim), Roger Biechler (Laura) and Rodney Biechler (Tanya); and his sisters-in-law, June Biechler, Delores Caraker (Smith), Joan and Patricia Santkuyl. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established for the Shiners or Heartland Hospice.
