She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruben Verstegen and Patrinella "Nellie" Verstegen; her husband Urban DeBruin; her son Ken; and her grandsons, Joshua Burwitz and Curt DeBruin.
She is survived by: her children, Nancy Geiger (Ken), Leo DeBruin (Fran), Janet Burwitz (Jim), Roy DeBruin (Deb) and Glen DeBruin (Amy); her daughter-in-law Pat DeBruin; and her grandchildren, Ann Pagel (Chad), Mike Wegner (Kathryn), Jeff Wegner, Greg DeBruin (Mollie), Jennifer Grissman (Chris), Terri DeBruin, Kristi Armstrong (Beau), Ben Burwitz (Stephanie), Kate Burwitz, Andrew Burwitz (Brittni), Adam DeBruin (Ashley), Jessica Conrad (Brett), Dan DeBruin, Melissa Monger (Andy) and Kevin DeBruin. She is also survived by 26 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
