He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Lamers and Emma Lamers (Vandenberg); his son Allan Lamers; his son-in-law Len Klein; his sister Joanne Geneske (Don); and his in-laws, Bud Verhagen, Jim Ciske and Ron Ciske (Lori).
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Lamers; his children, Anne Huiting (Mark), Joseph Lamers (Kelly), Tom Lamers (Pat), Mary Prickette (Jeff), Jean Klein, Mark Lamers (Jane), Patti Scott (Eric) and Tim Lamers (Kourtny); his sister Nancy Verhagen; and his sister-in-law Shirley Ciske. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many great friends.
A memorial fund will be established to include St. Joseph's Food Pantry.
