He was predeceased by: his son Steven Cashman; his grandsons, Brian Ingalls, Joseph Safranski, Richard and Alexander Verstegen; and his parents, George Cashman and Marion Cashman (Peck).
He is survived by: his wife Joan M. (Mitchell); his children, Sandy Cashman (Jim Becker), Sherrie Verstegen (Mike), Debbie Safranski (Andy) and Bob Cashman (Linda); his grandchildren, Jeff, Anne, Elizabeth, Donna, Scott, Eric, Adam, Emily, Jessica and Katie; and his sisters, Betty and Jean. He is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren.
