He is survived by: his wife Sue Heroux; his son Gary Bombinski (Dawn); his grandson Luke Bombinski (Angie); his children, Shayna Ambrosius (Rob), Kacie Weyenberg (Jason), Mitchell Bolwerk, Brady Bolwerk, Eric Bombinski (Kimberly), Kayla Bombinski, Kendra Bombinski (Mason), Coy Hammen, Ty Hammen and Ty's; his sister Teri Pfefferle (Tom); his parents-in-law, Ann and Lawrence Heroux; his sister-in-law Kay Heroux; and also Emily.

In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established.
