She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Verbeten and Helen Verbeten (Nytes); her husband Harvey Van Vreede; her siblings, Earl (Betty), Robert (Doris), Ralph (Evie), Marlin Verbeten, Blanche Pynenberg (Gerald), Florence De Goey and Lois Gonnering (Donny); and her siblings-in-law, Georgiana Weyers (Bill), Aloyius Van Vreede (Elaine), Floyd Van Vreede (Catherine), Vic Van Vreede (Helen), Carl Van Vreede (Margaret), Clyde Helein (Lefty) and Ronald DeBruin.
She is survived by: her children, Lorraine Mary Van Vreede, Roger Van Vreede (Lynn), Sandra McMonagle (Jim) and Richard Van Vreede (Rhonda); her grandchildren, Mark (Angela), Ryan, Scott Hammer (Farrin), Adam (Maddie), Dustin Van Vreede (Bryanna) and Andrea Bailey (Tom); her great grandchildren, Brennen Hammer, Davis, Tenley Van Vreede, Zachary, Ethan, Ellie, Clare, Sarah and Aaron Bailey; her sisters, Marion Helein (Deede) and Carol DeBruin; and her brother-in-law Jack De Goey. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established in Lorraine's name.
