He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Drasek and Linda Van Drasek (Zschaechner); his wife Dorothy Van Roy; his aunt Anna; his mothers-in-law, Rose Schnese (Cal), Darlene Dorn (Jim) and Rita Van Roy; and also, Martin Van Roy (Angie) and Bill.
He is survived by: his daughter Vicki Van De (Dave); his grandchildren, Amanda Van De Hey, Andy Van De (Jordan) and Abby Hall (Erik); his great grandchildren, Wyatt, Gavin, Stella, Gus and Vena; and his brother-in-law Bernie Van Roy of Kimberly.
