With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lawrence A. Artz (Kimberly, Wisconsin), born in Aberdeen, South Dakota, who passed away on June 10, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lambert Artz and Johanna Artz; his fathers-in-law, Bob (Judy) and Jerome (Pat); his wife Margaret Diedrick; his son Paul; his siblings, Johanna De Bruin (Quint), Marie Yeoman (Tom), Gertrude Artz (Gerhard) and John; his sister-in-law Curly Artz; his parents-in-law, Stephen and Clara Diedrick; and his siblings-in-law, John Ebben and Eleanor Uitenbroek.
He is survived by: his daughters, Noreen Hannemann (Paul) and Lynn Artz; his daughter-in-law Lynn Artz; his grandchildren, Sarah Knutson (Brent), Maria Verkuilen, Carly Wachtendonk (Corey), Joy Vanevenhoven and Shane Vanevenhoven (Kathryn); his great grandchildren, Alejandro, Brooks, Nick, Rocky and Carter; and his parents-in-law, Marian Diedrick, Rose Ebben, Joe Uitenbroek, Imelda Hietpas (Marv) and Rita Hietpas (Jerry). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
