He was predeceased by: his parents, Virginia Coenen (Braun) and Robert Braun; his stepfather Jerry Coenen; his father-in-law Jack Prendergast; and his sister-in-law Sue Braun (Domke).
He is survived by: his wife Sally; his children, Sarah Newman (Greg) and Nathan Braun (Jen); his grandchildren, Levi, Everett, Kai Newman and Peaches; his mother-in-law Jean Prendergast; his brother David Braun; his stepbrother Tim Coenen (Kathy); and his siblings-in-law, Dave (Diana), Tim (Simone), Matt Prendergast (Dina Malson) and Amy Roehrig (Terry). He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
