He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbert Kobussen and Grace Kobussen (Hermans); his stepmother Marie Kobussen; his sister Janice Reichel; his mother-in-law Lena Polakowski; and his brother-in-law Paul Polakowski.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Polakowski; his children, Kay Gahr (Scott) and Kurt Kobussen; his grandson Kamden Gahr; his brother-in-law Ron Reichel; his father-in-law Bob Polakowski; his siblings-in-law, John Polakowski (Cary), Tom Polakowski, Jim Polakowski (Marta) and Joan Wettstein (Mike); and his godson Kody Knaus. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
