He is survived by: his wife Sue Carol; and his children, James Jr. Meyer (Mary), Vicki Penzenstadler (Jim), Debbie Huelsbeck (Jeff), Jeffrey Meyer (Pamela) and Andy Meyer. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been set up for Spencer Lake Christian Center.
