She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore "Ted" Kemps and Minnie Hietpas Kemps; her husband Harvey Van Deraa; her siblings, Ernest Kemps (Terese), LaVerne Vander Loop (Gerald) and Lucille Kempen (Marvin); and her siblings-in-law, Ruth Van Deraa, Charles Green, Angeline Vanevenhoven (Ralph), Marvin Van Deraa, Eleanor Walker (Richard) and Gerald Van Deraa.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Van Deraa (Mary) of De Pere, WI, James Van Deraa (Susan) of Cape Coral, FL, Joseph Van Deraa (Barbara) of Kimberly, WI, Mary Heimmermann (Nick) of Wabeno, WI, Jeffrey Van Deraa of Indiana and Kevin Van Deraa of Kimberly, WI; her sisters, Marlene Green and Judy Shaw (Don); and her siblings-in-law, Lawrence Van Deraa, Ronald Van Deraa (Beth), Geraldine Welch and Kathleen Van Deraa. She is also survived by her 9 grandchildren; as well as her 15 great grandchildren.
