He was predeceased by: his parents, George Brassow and Minnie Brassow; and his brothers, Harold, Roy and George.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Raaths of Paul's Lutheran Church; his daughter Heidi; his son-in-law Steven Feest; his daughter Colleen; his son-in-law Joseph Demler; his daughter Jennifer; his son-in-law Lance Schwartz; his son Jonathan; his daughter-in-law Cyndi Brassow; his son David; his daughter-in-law Michelle Brassow; his grandchildren, Benjamin Schwartz, Sarah (Schwartz), Lindemann (Jonas), Marie Demler, Jacob Brassow, Anna Schwartz, Erik Demler, Caden Brassow and Ella Brassow; his great grandchild Ezekiel Lindemann; and his sister-in-law Ruth Banaszynski. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages memorials to Bethany Lutheran College, Michigan Lutheran Seminary, and the Mount Calvary Sanctuary Fund.
