She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Blair and Mary Blair (Mangold); her siblings, Loretta Vandenberg (Alvin), Edward Blair (Virginia), Leo Blair (Florence), Jerome Blair, Cletus Blair (Arlene), Norbert Blair (Phyllis) and Joan Blair; her parents-in-law, Vincent Verhoeven (Margaret), Agnes Newhouse (Ray) and Leona Liebergen (Cyrus); and also Hank Wachtendonck.
She is survived by: her husband Earl Verhoeven; her daughter Pat Wachtendonck (Jim Peerenboom); her grandchildren, Mark Wachtendonck (Trina) and Sara Remington (JimFox); her great grandchildren, Amanda Wachtendonck (Kevin), Alysa Remington (Paul) and Danny Remington (Madi); her stepgrandchildren, Jennifer Burnham (Stephen), Laurie Woolever (Jim), Kenneth Burnham, Savannah Woolever, Grayce Burnham and Sadie Burnham; and her close friends, Jan Guyette, Janice Van Zeeland and Maxine Williams. She is also survived by sister-in-law; many other family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, a portion of memorials to Bernice's family will be donated to her favorite charities.
