He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip V. Schwinn and Anne Schwinn (Doherty); his stepmother Bessie Bowen Schwinn; his brother-in-law Mick Jaquette; and his close friends, Jim, Bez and Tucker.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Schwinn (Droessler) of Kieler, WI; his children, Philip A. Schwinn of Milwaukee, WI, Natalie Schwinn-Weaver (Scott) of La Crosse, WI and Rob Ripley; his granddaughters, Maria, Rosa and Pearl; his sisters, Helen Balfe (Mike) of Dubuque, IA and Judy Jaquette of Cedar Rapids, IA; and his in-laws, Sam Droessler (Nancy) of Kieler, WI, Tom Droessler (Judy) of Kieler, WI, Ted Droessler (Linda Wessels) of Potosi, WI, Albie Droessler (Patty) of Stoughton, WI and Angel Busch (Rick) of Gays Mills, WI. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren.
A rosary was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 at 1:40 PM at the Immaculate Conception Parish Center, Kieler, Wisconsin (3685 County HHH, Kieler, WI 53812). Visitation was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM. A Mass was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church (3685 County HHH, Kieler, WI 53812).
In lieu of flowers, memorials to be directed to Hospice of Dubuque and HG-IC Catholic School.
