She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Abing and Martha Abing (Schmitz); her husband Melvin Brant of Andrew's Church; her son Joseph Brant; her grandson Ben Brant; her grandson-in-law Eric Petersen-Brant; her siblings, Marie, Berniece, Betty Jungk, Leo Abing, Cyril Abing (Florentine), Irene Seng (Clarence) and Richard Abing; and her in-laws, Don Williams, Bernard Hentrich, Katie Abing and Dan Joyce.
She is survived by: her children, Diane Bruner (Kendal) of Cuba City, WI, Jerry Brant (Jill) of Cuba City, WI, Jeff Brant (Jacque) of Cape Coral, FL and Jay Brant (Sarah) of Platteville, WI; her daughter-in-law Deb Brant; her siblings, Irvin Abing, Doris Hentrich and Margaret Hentrich (Joe); her siblings-in-law, Bernadette Abing-Williams, Paulette Abing and Jim Jungk; and her grandchildren, Carissa Cornejo (Hernan), Adam Bruner (Amy), Josh Bruner (Blythe), Michael Bruner (Haley), Nicole Roepsch (Fred), Heather Droessler (Nick), Jeremy Brant (Hannah), Brooke Lange (Rob), Chris Brant (Michelle), Nick Brant (Liz), Lindsey Long (Klayton), Brandon Brant (Emilee), Cameron Brant (Savannah Hilby), Jenni Petersen-Brant and Travis Brant (Sarah Harris). She is also survived by 31 great-grandchildren.
A rosary was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 3:40 PM and from 3:45 PM to 4:00 PM at the Immaculate Conception Parish Center (3685 County HHH, Kieler, WI 53812). Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the same location. A Mass was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church (3685 County HHH, Kieler, WI 53812). A burial was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Immaculate Conception Church Cemetery (3685 County HHH, Kieler, WI 53812). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Pj's Pub & Hall (3670 County HHH, Kieler, WI 53812).
