She is survived by: her husband Tom; her son Tim Averkamp (Amy) of Sun Prairie, WI; her grandchildren, Dylan, Ally and Lily; her daughter Brenda Ritt (Wayne) of Galena, IL; her granddaughters, Lucy and Lila; her daughter Lori Kieler (Ryan) of Kieler, WI; her grandchildren, Quinn and Chloe; her siblings, Judy Kolbe (Tom), Patsy VanNatta (Steve), Sharon Trevarthen (Randy), Bill Kruser (Joanie), Julie Wimmer (Mike), Linda Jansen (Jesse), Joe Kruser (Peggy) and Bob Kruser (Peggy); and her in-laws, Terry Averkamp (Kim), Mary Rygel (Dan), Larry Averkamp (Sally), Paul Averkamp (Diane), Joe Averkamp (Suzanne), Jim Averkamp (Jan), Lloyd Averkamp (Chris), Lynn Christensen (Phil), Diane Tougas (Norm) and Karen Stewart. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of plants & flowers a Karen A. Averkamp Memorial Fund has been established.
