He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Droessler and Louisa Droessler (Helbing); his siblings, Dennis Droessler (Mary Beth), Rose Ann Vaassen (LaVern), Darlene Lange (Bob), Jeanette Scott, Joe Droessler and Burnell Droessler; his brother-in-law John Soards; his parents-in-law, John and Basilla Schonhoff; and his sisters-in-law, Pat McLaughlin (Bob) and Mary Snyder (Ed).

He is survived by: his wife Elaine Schonhoff; his children, Pam Doyle (Kevin) of Galena, IL, Jacque Bohr (Jeff) of Dubuque, IA, Janet Droessler of Madison, WI, Karen Rouse (Jim) of Madison, WI, Rusty Droessler (Diane), Marty Droessler (Molly Fuller) and Jamie Droessler (Natalie) of Black Earth, WI; his sister Rita Schultz; his siblings-in-law, Dave Scott, Juana Droessler and Bob Schonhoff (Barb); his grandchildren, Tim Vincent (Lindsy), Mike Vincent (Heather), Jon Doyle (Anna), Fallon Oldenburg (Matt), Jonathon, Justin, Jenna Droessler, Jake, Joey Bohr, Alex, Owen Rouse, Katelyn, Brooklyn Droessler, Brett and Avery Droessler; and his great grandchildren, Jack, Cooper, Addy Vincent, Leah, Liza, Elyse Vincent and Leo Oldenburg. He is also survived by 7 children, 15 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
