He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Hoppenjan; his children, Troy Hoppenjan (Awa) of Hazel Green, WI, Ross Hoppenjan (Erica) of Castle Rock, CO, Nina Heinzen (Benjamin) of Oshkosh, WI and Lindsey Hageman (John) of Dubuque, IA; and his grandchildren, Vincent, Walter Hoppenjan, Bryce, Madison Hoppenjan, Evelyn, Zoe, Esther, Magdalene, Maribel, Zelie Heinzen, Eloise, Judah and Gemma Hageman.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
