He was predeceased by: his parents, Will Lange and Clara Lange (Leibfried); his wife Mary Lee; his children, Sharon Sweet, Rosie, Rhonda and Jerry Lange; his granddaughter Kelli Runde; and his sibling Gerry Lange.
He is survived by: his nephew Nick; his children, Roxie Vaassen (Keith) of Dickeyville, Jeff Lange (Jean) of Dubuque and Vickie Runde (Jay) of Mineral Point; his grandchildren, Casey Sweet (Brooke), Chad Vaassen (Connie), Chris Sweet, Cody Sweet (Jen), Jeff Sweet, Jesse Sweet (Nicole), Travis Runde (Kira), Kayla Gee (Michael), Ben Lange (Lauren Kramer), Jaycie Runde, Jason Richard (Susan), Stacy Portzen (Andrew) and Brian Richard (Brianna); and his siblings, Pat Dreessens, Rosalyn Haug, Doris Wiederholt (Bill), Ron Lange, Sam Lange (Marlene), Delia Schroeder, Jean Lange, Lu Lange and Mike Lange (Doris).
