He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Ehlers and Inez; his siblings, Donald and Mary; and his sister-in-law Melanie Ehlers (Thomas).
He is survived by: his niece Jennifer Schneider; and his siblings, Sandra Flink (Ronald) of Naperville, IL, Jerry Ehlers (Donna) of Medford, OR, Thomas Ehlers of Dubuque, IA and Roger Ehlers (Karen) of San Diego, CA. He is also survived by four nephews; one niece; six grand-nephews and two grand-nieces.
