He was predeceased by: his parents, Arno Vogel and Hertha "Hattie" Vogel (Schmitt); his former wife Janice M. Seichter; his great grandchild Alyssa Vogel; and his siblings, Fred Vogel, Rueben Vogel (Loretta), Elroy Vogel, Arlen Vogel (Betty Jane), Donald Vogel (Elaine), Lucinda Happel (Melvin), Ellen Lehrke (Norman), Elaine Lisowe (Joe), Betty Niemuth, Judy Hassinger, Elvira Richter (Clarence) and Mabel Lenz (Al).
He is survived by: his wife Agnes Karstaedt; his children, Diane Reil (Tim), Debra Jaakkola (Jack), Steve Vogel (Kathy), Brenda Johnson (Bob), Julie Norton (James) and Lisa Lefeber; his grandchildren, Carley Marie Reil, Justin Vogel (Hallie), Brent Vogel (Abby), Stacey Sesing (Kevin), Kelly Krebsbach (Chris), Jessica Schwartzmiller (Eric), Tarah Bauman and Taylor Bauman; and his siblings-in-law, Keith Hassinger and Rose Vogel. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
