We are sad to announce that on May 19, 2024, at the age of 86, Sandra Steffen of Kiel, Wisconsin, born in Sheboygan, Wisconsin passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Steinhardt and Alyce Steinhardt (Kuester); her husband Allen Steffen; her children-in-law, Laurie Steffen (Stahl) and Arlyn Horneck; her grandson Joshua Franzen; and her siblings-in-law, Leander Steffen (Mary), Arlyn Steffen (Luann), Willy, Hermes Steffen, Randy Steffen (LaVern), Kenneth Steffen (Rosemary), Genevieve Heimann (Alois), Celestine Steffen and William Mertens.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Mark Steffen (Gina), Kelly Horneck, Lorie Becher (Terry), Lynn Van Pietersom (Kurt), Mike Steffen (Lori), Scott Steffen, Lisa Franzen (David) and Steve Steffen (Sharon); her great grandchild Olin Woelfel; her sister-in-law Audrey Mertens; her caregiver Linda; and also Sandy. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She also knitted and sewed countless hats, mittens and scarfs for church to be donated to local charities.
