He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis DeZwarte and Eleanor DeZwarte (Parrish); his parents-in-law, Ray and Doris Thelen; his sister Barbara Larson (Russ); and his brothers-in-law, Carl Hogue, Alton "Butch" Berg, Michael Thelen and Leroy Thelen.
He is survived by: his pet Brandie; his wife Donna Thelen; his children, Tammy DeZwarte of Kiel and Todd DeZwarte (Sarah) of Elkhart Lake; his grandchildren, Zoya, Ellison and Ethan; his siblings, Christine Hogue of Plymouth and David DeZwarte (Sandy) of Plymouth; and his siblings-in-law, Janice Berg of Cascade, Marilyn Krizenesky (John) of Elkhart Lake, Karen Adleman (Jim) of Sheboygan Falls, LuAnn Mertens (Tom) of Chilton, Carol Thelen of Plymouth and Tom Thelen (Ginny) of Marinette. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
