We are sad to announce that on January 2, 2021, at the age of 95, Philip D. Maurer of Kiel, Wisconsin passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip Maurer and Kathryn Maurer (Kretsch); his wife Helen E. Sander; his sons, Christopher and Michael; his parents-in-law, Kermit Maurer (Nellie), Bernice Vandegrift (Jack), Doris Wilbert (Robert), Kathryn Hansmann (Monroe), Alan Maurer and Daniel Maurer (Myra); and his brothers-in-law, Eldor Sander (Therese), Gene Sander and Raymond Rooker.
He is survived by: his children, Loretta Maurer (Christopher Bresser), Brian Maurer (Fernanda), Robert Maurer (Renee), Gary Maurer (Sherry) and Carol Maurer; his grandchildren, Michelle Kwoka (Kevin), Carlos Eduardo Maurer, Jamie Maurer, Jacob Maurer, Gwenyth Maurer, Courtney Pleviak (Marty) and Jerad Rausch; his great grandchild Callie Pleviak; and his sisters-in-law, Dori Maurer, Leona Sander and Marilyn Rooker. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and life-long friends.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Philip's name.
