He was predeceased by : his parents, Peter Sr. Dorn and Bernadine Dorn (Walsdorf); his children, Michael and Peggy Buss (Dan); his siblings, Jane Salm (Peter), Bernadette Engelman (Wayne) and James Dorn; his brothers-in-law, Rollie Stecker (Anna), John Lenchek and Wally Stecker; and also Janet.

He is survived by : his wife Elizabeth Stecker (Betty); his daughters, Terry Dorn Sanchez (Paco) and Lisa Jens (Jim); his grandchildren, Tanya Mast (Jeff), Madison, Sam Jens and Emily Jens; his siblings, Lucy Dorn, Marie Bernadette Dorn, Patricia Dorn Sheboygan and Patrick (Fran); and his sisters-in-law, Joan Dorn, Marlea Lenchek and Dolly Stecker.

Visitation was held on Saturday, June 15th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Peter and Paul Catholic Church (413 Fremont St, Kiel, WI 53042). A funeral service was held on Saturday, June 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
