He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Gerhartz and Mary Gerhartz (Franzen); his brother Roman Gerhartz; and his brother-in-law John Bartel. He is survived by: his sister Virginia Bartel of Chilton; his sister-in-law Joan Gerhartz of New Holstein; and his nieces and nephews, Don Bartel (Shirley), Jerry Bartel (Dawn), Michael Gerhartz (Denise), Pat Bowe (Gilbert), Barb Gerner (Steve), Linda Trempala (Joe), Sue Sweere (Henry), Diane Crass (Steve) and Kay Guelig (Joe). He is also survived by great nephews; great nieces; and great-great nieces & nephews.
