It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary A. Schnell of Kiel, Wisconsin, who passed away on October 15, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lyle Pitzen and Esther Pitzen (Kraus); her husband Robert Schnell; her stepfather Melvin Halbach Sr.; her parents-in-law, Joseph and Clara Schnell; her siblings, Betty Casper and Mark Pitzen; and her siblings-in-law, Eugene Schnell, J. Kenneth Schnell, Kenneth Casper, Raymond Propson and Virginia Schnell.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Krause (Jamison), Milton, Brenda Krause (Justin), Terry Schnell, Cindy Schnell-Benson (Larry) and Jason Schnell (Tanya); her grandchildren, Cameron, Jasmine Krause, Kadence, Kaleb Krause, Samantha, Korissa, Connor Benson, Ethan, Aiden and Ava Schnell; her siblings, Lyle Pitzen (Sue), Gary Pitzen and Christine Diedrich (Tom); and her siblings-in-law, Joseph Schnell (Nancy), Bernice Schnell, Mary Propson and Hilbert.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 22nd 2024 from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM at the Meiselwitz-Vollstedt-DeTroye Funeral Home (815 6th St, Kiel, WI 53042). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 22nd 2024 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
