He was predeceased by : his parents, Henry Bornemann and Louise Bornemann (Bechle); and his son Brian. He is survived by : his wife Linda Maxey; his children, Dale Bornemann (Lynn), Tim Bornemann (Jennie) and Julie Prahl (Ken); and his daughter-in-law Vickey Bornemann. He is also survived by his niece, other relatives and many friends.
