She was predeceased by: her parents, Jeanold Schmidt and Jane Schmidt; her brother Gary Schmidt; her siblings-in-law, Harvey and Norma Henschel; her brother Ronald; her sister-in-law Jackie Henschel; and her godson Jason Kissinger.
She is survived by: her husband Gerald "Jerry" Henschel; her children, Wendy Meyer (Jeff), Jamie Henschel (Heather), Jody Binversie (Todd) and Kerri DeTroye (Steve); her grandchildren, Cody Braun, Marissa Fitzgerald (Cameron), Jon Meyer (Emily Leschke), Courtney, Ryan, Emily Binversie, Ellen, Timothy DeTroye, Wyatt and Hailey Henschel; her great grandchild McKenna Fitzgerald; her siblings, Susan Kissinger (David) and Jeffrey Schmidt (Renee); and her sister-in-law Janice Brass (Bill). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
