He is survived by: his sons, Caleb Schmitt (Nicole), Joshua Schmitt and Matthew Schmitt; his siblings, Darlene Werdeo, Janice Gilbertson (Ron) and Tim Schmitt (Suzanne); and his siblings-in-law, Meg Schmitt, JoAnne Schmitt, Dan Dietrich (Diana McGrath) and Dean Dietrich (Kaye). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
