It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John C. Nielsen of Kiel, Wisconsin, born in Newark, New Jersey, who passed away on November 27, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Howard Nielsen; and his daughter Abby Coster. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Deering; his children, John Jr. Nielsen (Kim) and Julie Mattingly (Bob); his grandchildren, Matthew Nielsen, Brian Nielsen, Zachary Coster (Mya), Emily Ernsperger, Thomas Coster (Savanah), Katherine Coster, Grace Coster, Liesl Coster and Maxwell Mattingly; his great grandchildren, Annily, Elijah and Alexander; his son-in-law Dan Coster; and his sister-in-law Sandra Deering.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established to be used for Zion Lutheran Church and Kiel VFW Post 6707.
