He was predeceased by: his parents, Keith Ryan and Dagmar Ryan; and his sister Judy Evenson (Robert). He is survived by: his wife Jacqualine Linchesky; his sons, Tim Ungrodt and Chris Ungrodt (Lisa); and his grandsons, Lucas Ungrodt and Dylan Ungrodt (Kyla Gordon).
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established to be used for Zion Lutheran Church.
