He was predeceased by: his father Otto Gerharz; his parents-in-law, Ray and Faye Dedering; his siblings, Roman, Harold (Margaret), Dorothy Vreeke (Matthew), Virginia Alexandroni (Anthony), Loraine Gerharz and Margie Byrum (Fred); his stepdaughter Lori; his grandsons, Cameron Lomibao and Cody Schmidt; and his siblings-in-law, David Dedering, Daryl Will, Rich Borcherding and Linda Weber.
He is survived by: his wife Judy; his sons, Ronald Gerharz (Kathy) and David Gerharz of Garland, TX; his grandchildren, Michael, Sean Gerharz, William Schmidt (Stephanie), Shakari, Brandon Lomibao, Jenny Klotz (Tyler), Tyler Lomibao, Little Chute and Mason Vogel; his daughters, Nataya, Jaliyah, Beckett, Boston, Avery and Orion; and his niece Sandy Kalmerton (Ed). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
The family requests that no flowers be sent. A memorial fund will be established to benefit veterans.
