He was predeceased by: his parents, David Gilsdorf and Bernetta Gilsdorf (Rieth). He is survived by: his wife Mary Gerdes-Noack; his children, Rachel Gilsdorf, Andrew Gilsdorf, Paula Schulz (James), Christine Clements (John), David Noack (Ali) and Jenny Peterson; his grandchildren, Samual, Owen, Madeline, Alexander, Charlie, Eli, Mariam, Kylee, Walter, Gabriel and Sophia; and his siblings, Karen Vandoske (Warren), Conrad Gilsdorf (Judy), Kenneth Gilsdorf (Paula), Christine Kubichka (John), Steven Gilsdorf (Donna), Michael Gilsdorf (Lydia), Debra Gilsdorf, Mary Andreas (Brian), Michelle Fleishman (James), Barry Gilsdorf (Nissa) and Julie Feucht (Jamie). He is also survived by aunts, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and great friends.
The family requires that all those in attendance wear a mask, as well as maintain social distancing throughout the visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial for Gene will be held Privately.
