She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Koentopp and Virginia Koentopp (Kutz); and her son Glenn DeSmidt. She is survived by: her children, Tammy Pfeifer (George) of Belgium, Cheri Kumrow (Gerald) of Adell, Jerry DeSmidt (Jake Hendzel) of Pulaski and Amy Sosinsky (Jason) of Kiel; her grandchildren, George Pfeifer (Abbey), Justin Pfeifer, Gary Kumrow, Parker Sosinsky and Addison Sosinsky; and her great grandchildren, George Pfeifer and Christopher Pfeifer. She is also survived by eight sisters; a brother; nieces; nephews; other relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Sippel Funeral Home - New Holstein (2618 Altona Ave, New Holstein, WI 53061). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 4:30 PM at the same location.
