He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Miller and Louise Miller (Klein); his wife Jeanette E. Ninmer; his parents-in-law, Elmer and Viola Ninmer; his siblings, Leon Miller (Ruth), Rosella Bruckner (Ralph), Arno Miller, Arline Schnell (Leo), Elroy Miller (Rose Mary) and Carlos Miller (Margene); and his siblings-in-law, Orville Ninmer, Willard Ninmer (Frances) and Audrey Hansman (Elroy).
He is survived by: his children, Brenda Schetter (Steve), Pat Horness (Jeff), Mark Miller (Karen), Lisa Winkel (Dan) and Jayne Miller (Dennis Patt); his grandchildren, Alicia Montesa (Gaspar), Matthew Schetter (Alisha), Caitlin Walgrave (Marcus), Taylor Horness (Amy), Jenny Schnelle (Steve), Amanda Boedecker (Justin), Aaryn Faust (Corey), Jenna Yost (Brett), Benjamin Miller (Jennifer), Jacob Winkel (Bailey Schaller) and Alex Winkel; and his sisters-in-law, Doreen Miller and Gertrude Ninmer. He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
