It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Susan I. Shaffer of Kewaunee, Wisconsin, who passed away on April 14, 2025, at the age of 52, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her brother Kevin Van Goethem; and her nephew Kevin Robinson. She is survived by: her parents, Ray Goethem and Jeanette Van Goethem (Skaleski); her husband Craig Shaffer; her sons, Riley and Tyler Shaffer; her parents-in-law, Steve and Lynette Shaffer; her siblings, Ron Van Goethem (Tracy), Tim Van Goethem (Melissa) and Janelle Robinson (Virgil); her brother-in-law Steve Shaffer (Cara); her nieces and nephews, Molly, Nate and Kevin Shaffer (Nichol Johnson); and her pet Squeekers (Badiki). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM. A prayer will be held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Kinnard Funeral & Cremation Services - Kewaunee (1425 Ellis St, Kewaunee, WI 54216). A Mass will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church (521 Juneau St, Kewaunee, WI 54216).
