He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Karl and Matilda Karl (Plansky); his brother Arnold; his son-in-law Kurt Kroll; his parents-in-law, George and Anna Thompson; and his in-laws, Marie, Henry Bruening, George, Martha Thompson, Joseph, Monica Thompson, Marcel, Evelyn Thompson, Helen and Francis Murphy.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Thompson; his grandchildren, Angie Denis (Chad), Alison Hendrickson (Brian), Ryan Vanne (Jessie), Dalton Karl (Katelyn), Laura Seehaver (Chris), Jacob Karl, Miracle Everson (Ethan), Chloe Karl (Dillon), Mitchell Karl, Justin Bertrand (Ashley), Jayme Bertrand (Paige), Logan Kroll and Anna Fawcett (Justin); his great grandchildren, Clayton Denis, Conner Denis (Logan), Grace Hendrickson, Ara Vanne, Daytona, Andrew Seehaver, Jeremiah Karl, Avery Bertrand and Braxten Bertrand; and his friend Chuck Molle. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church (521 Juneau St, Kewaunee, WI 54216). A Mass was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
