He is survived by: his wife Joyce Wavrunek; his daughters, Sharon Steel (Jason) and Jeanine Schweiss (Joe); his grandchildren, Savannah, Jake, Justin Steel, Evan and Ava Schweiss; his sister Sister Mary Charles Hlinak; and his siblings-in-law, Caroline Hlinak, Carolyn, Allen Zimmer, Cindy and Larry Wavrunek.
