She was predeceased by: her father Anton Otto; her great grandchild Evan Hesse; and her siblings, Bill Otto (Lorraine) and Alice Herbst (Bud). She is survived by: her husband Frank E. Wessely; her daughter Debra; her son-in-law Dennis Hodges of Sioux Falls, SD; her children, Frank A. Wessely and Julie; her son-in-law Charlie Vesely of Andover, MN; her grandchildren, Mark Hodges, Sarah Hodges (Eddy Labin), Jacque Meyer (Cody), Andrea Hesse (Brad), Charles Vesely and Ben Vesely; her great grandchild Liam Hesse; and her stepgreat-grandson Wyatt Meyer.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Kewaunee Public Library or Wisconsin Humane Society, Door County Campus.
