She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Kroening and Louise Kroening (Hafeman); her former husband Elton Simonar (Bob); her husband Henry Opicka; her son Ronald Simonar; her siblings, Clifford Kroening (Maxine), Orville Kroening, Gertrude Harmann (Victor) and Loretta Franda (Jerome); her siblings-in-law, Elnora Wagner (Roland), Wally Simonar (Florence), Vida Miller (Wilbert "Snooky"), Donald Bittorf, Evelyn Paplham (Harvey) and Frances Burmeister (Harlan); and her parents-in-law, Frank, Melva Simonar, Henry Sr. and Mae Opicka.
She is survived by: her daughters, Gail Zellner (Alan) of Kewaunee and Brenda Hirst (Alan) of Kewaunee; her daughter-in-law Pat Simonar (Wayne) of New Franken; her grandchildren, April Massey, Amy Terrien, Kevin Zellner (Peggy) and Kim Rossa (Mike); her great grandchildren, Ben Massey, Jared Zellner (Elise), Kirsten Massey, Brittany Kostichka, Xavier Terrien, Zach Kostichka and Justin Zellner; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Alison Anzaldua (Mark), Clayton Shaw and Michelle Rossa; and her sister-in-law Lois "Jean" Bittorf of Carlsville. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
