He was predeceased by: his father Harlan Burmeister; and his wife Sharron Matthews. He is survived by: his son Jessie; his daughter-in-law Erin Burmeister; his daughter Gena; his son-in-law Ken Vlies; his stepchildren, Kelly Bagneski, Jesse Robinson (Wendy) and Daniel Robinson (Jamie); his siblings, Bonnie Kinjerski, Betsy Burmeister, Kathy Paral (Mike), Alice VanLanen (Bruce), Mary Murphy (Mark) and Alan Burmeister; the mother of his children Melinda Thor; and his pet Spooky. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; two great grandchildren.
