He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Mueller and Elizabeth Mueller (Roidt); his parents-in-law, Henry and Grace Lehrmann; his brother David Mueller; and his siblings-in-law, Roger, Karen Lehrmann, Eugene Skarvan and Kenneth Gretz.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his children, Tena Hartwig (Brian) of New Holstein, Betsy Scheuer (Deacon Dave) of Maribel and Tom Mueller of Kewaunee; his grandchildren, Kyle Hartwig (Megan Giese) of Sheboygan, Kaleb Hartwig of New Holstein, Ethan Hartwig (Aileen Funk) of Milwaukee, John Scheuer of Big Sky and Grace Scheuer of Eau Claire; his great grandchildren, Scarlett and Violet Hartwig; his sisters, Sarah Schuchardt (Dennis) of Appleton and Sue Bacos (Chris) of Green Bay; and his sisters-in-law, Jean Mueller of Kewaunee, Marie Skarvan of Manitowoc, Jean Becker (Richard) of Two Rivers, Eileen Gretz of Manitowoc and Luella Soukup (David) of Manitowoc.
