She was predeceased by: her father Joseph Steinhorst; her parents-in-law, Jacob and Frances Schleis (Konop); her children-in-law, Diane Schleis, Mark Salzsieder and Mike Pardowsky; and her brother Wilbert Steinhorst (Mary).
She is survived by: her husband Jacob Lester Schleis; her children, Mary Ann Pardowsky, Rodney (Julie Schleis) and Peter (Terri Schleis); and her sister-in-law Theresa Schleis. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; twenty-three great grandchildren.
