He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Hafeman and Esther Hafeman (Iwen); his daughter Liza; his brother Ralph (Mary); his niece Becky Jeanquart; his great-niece Holly; his great-nephew Jason; his siblings-in-law, Arthur, Dorothy Pavlat and Bob Pavlat (Lois); and also Paul.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Pavlat; his nieces, Lois Albertson (John), Sue Paschke (Ron), Patti Poe (Bob) and Jackie Snow; his close friend Ann Haas; and his brother-in-law Rudy Pavlat (Diane).
